Practical workflow
Compare LUTs without guessing.
The fastest meaningful comparison uses one representative frame, one known input pipeline, and the same strength and interpolation for every look.
1. Prepare a useful source
For creative LUTs, export an SDR still from the point in your NLE where the LUT is intended to operate. For a technical log-to-display LUT, use footage in the exact camera gamma and gamut named by its creator.
2. Load the entire pack
Drop multiple `.cube` files or their ZIP into LUT.HAUS. Invalid and duplicate files are reported separately, so one broken file does not block the rest of the pack.
3. Shortlist instead of pixel-peeping
Use the thumbnail grid for broad decisions, then inspect a few candidates at full size. Pay special attention to skin, neutral grays, saturated colors, highlights, and shadows.
4. Verify in the real pipeline
The browser lab is for auditioning. Reapply finalists inside the color-managed NLE or camera pipeline where they will actually be used before delivery.
